2024 in Review
2024 was a defining year for Amaa. Apart from launching the vision, we also took bold steps toward empowering African founders by launching initiatives that truly matter. Here’s a quick recap of our milestones and achievements in 2024.
Started the Vision for Amaa
In 2024, we caught the vision for Amaa after interacting with over 3,000 SMEs. Armed with real life data and feedback, we set out as a team to build an A.I-Powered platform that aims to make mentorship and accountability easily accessible for entrepreneurs in Africa. We couldn’t be more excited to go on this journey.
Core Team and Advisors
To power this mission, we also assembled a powerhouse team of professionals and advisors who bring expertise and passion to drive Amaa’s mission forward.
Strategic Partnerships
In 2024, we secured a major collaboration that will amplify our impact in Africa and beyond. We will be sharing more details in 2025.
Community Building Across Social Media
We also expanded our presence across social media platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter, connecting with a vibrant network of founders and business leaders.
Africa Founder’s Digest Launch

100,000 Mentors Campaign
We launched an ambitious pre-campaign to onboard a network of mentors. So far, it’s been an exciting ride. 2024 laid the foundation for the ambitious strides we’re set to make in 2025. And we’re excited to have your support all through it.
Our Focus for 2025
2025 is the year we turn ideas into action, empowering entrepreneurs with the tools, mentorship, and networks they need to succeed in an increasingly dynamic world. Here’s how we intend to do it:
Achieving a Functional MVP and Preparing for Launch
This year, our primary objective is to develop a fully functional Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that addresses the mentorship challenges faced by African entrepreneurs. Our MVP is currently under development, and we will soon be engaging early adopters to test the product. We will use the feedback obtained to refine features and ensure usability of the product. We plan to launch Amaa in the third quarter of 2025. We will keep the community updated about our progress every step of the way.
Expanding Engagement with African Founders and Global Diaspora Networks
The African entrepreneurial ecosystem thrives on collaboration and connection, and in 2025, we are doubling down on building bridges between African founders and global diaspora communities. Through strategic partnerships and collaborations, we will unlock opportunities that transcend borders, providing entrepreneurs with access to mentorship, resources, and funding.
The Africa SME Assembly
We’re thrilled to host the second edition of the Africa SME Assembly in 2025. Building on the success of the maiden edition, Africa SME Assembly 2025 will bring together founders, business owners, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and policymakers from across the continent. This gathering will spotlight the challenges and opportunities facing African SMEs while driving impactful conversations that pave the way for innovation, collaboration, and growth.
